Horst Gager Times Three
Winner of the Falstaff Red Wine Grand Prix 2021 in the category Young Red Wine Cuvée 2020
All three analyzed wines from 2019 have been awarded 3 W&G points, following their evaluation at HBLAuBA Klosterneuburg. However, their analysis values differ significantly.
The Cuvée Quattro 2019, a blend of Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Zweigelt, contains over 2000 mg/L of polyphenols. The Cuvée Cablot 2019, composed of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, reaches over 2500 mg/L of polyphenols. Yet, neither surpasses the Cuvée Tycoon 2017, made from Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Tannat, which boasts over 3200 mg/L of polyphenols.
Beyond their health-promoting properties, these wines have also been recognized for their exceptional taste, as demonstrated by numerous awards. The Tycoon 2017, for example, received 94 points from Falstaff.
Here, enjoyment and health benefits come together in perfect harmony.
