MEDICUS – A Red Wine with Health-Promoting Compounds

With MEDICUS, a unique red wine cuvée was created for the first time through a collaboration between Dr. Gerhard Hubmann, a physician, and Horst Gager, a winemaker. MEDICUS is rich in polyphenols and flavonoids, has been analyzed at the Klosterneuburg Viticulture School, and has received the highest rating of three points from W&G Wine & Health.
Polyphenols and flavonoids are health-promoting compounds that can reduce the risk of heart attack by up to 50%, positively influence blood pressure, and have beneficial effects on aging (resveratrol) and type 2 diabetes.
