Neusiedlersee DAC Put to the Test

First things first: Test passed. Until now, grape varieties such as Tannat, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, and Blaufränkisch were considered the top choices in terms of health-promoting compounds. However, recent analyses have shown that Zweigelt also contains sufficient amounts of polyphenols and flavonoids.

The Neusiedlersee DAC wines from the wineries Allacher, Keringer, Reeh, Nittnaus, Salzl, and Scheiblhofer were analyzed and awarded two or three points of the W&G Wine Quality Seal.
Additionally, some three-point wines are already available for under €10—whether directly from the winery or in retail stores.
