Symposium: Alcohol – Cure or Curse… or Both?

Since the beginning of this year, alcohol has been under attack in the media. Numerous reports have highlighted the study by Tim Stockwell, concluding that there is no safe level of alcohol consumption. Some Austrian scientists have oversimplified the findings, proclaiming: "Every drop of alcohol is poison."

To counteract the uncertainty surrounding consumers, winemakers, retailers (LEH), the hospitality industry, and viticulture schools, W&G Wine & Health is hosting a symposium on November 21, 2024, at 6 PM at the Josephinum, Währinger Straße 25, Vienna.

The event will feature international scientists, presenting new insights on wine and health, scientific background information, and corrections to misleading claims.
