Why a Little Alcohol Reduces Stress in the Brain and Protects the Heart

The advantage of red wine among alcoholic beverages lies in its polyphenols and flavonoids, which are extracted from the skins of the grapes during maceration and retained in the wine.

W&G Wine & Health has always advocated moderate wine consumption, recommending 3/8 liters per day for men and 2/8 liters for women. The positive effects of this moderate intake have been scientifically confirmed multiple times.

Interestingly, this alcohol threshold is commonly referred to in scientific literature as the "harmless limit".
